Meet your candidates: Yash Raval & Olivia Mackenzie

Students' Union President and Executive Vice-President Candidates

Our names are Yash Raval and Olivia Mackenzie, and we are both currently second-year students at CBU. Combined, we have worked various jobs throughout the university. Our different positions had us working directly with the student union, student affairs and several other departments. We plan to use our diverse knowledge of CBU’s departments and student services to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for both local and international students. We want to educate students about the many different cultures our students come from and help bridge the gaps between students. We want every student to feel that they have representation and community at CBU no matter where they come from. Every student should feel welcome to approach their student union representatives with their concerns and worries. The Student Union is there to represent students and should be there to represent all students. We believe in diverse voices, united vision.
