While the leaves kept falling down, the Capers are still on a rise. It was not so long ago, when Caper’s Men’s soccer team beat Mounties ,which paved their way to another win against the StFX Men. On the other hand, despite the heat on the field, Caper’s Women couldn’t make it a win this time.

The Women’s game started off with utmost fervour, when the StFX Women tried to make a shot with an elapse of only 3 minutes. The first goal of the game was made by Alliyah Rowe , which was assisted by Ciera Disipio, putting Capers in the lead. Chasing the defence by Caper Women, a direct kick by X- Woman, Amanda Smith, succeeded to put the pressure on Capers by making the score 1-1. The scoreboard turned 2-1 when Alliyah Rowe made another goal after fighting for the ball. Immediately after that, the StFX coach got ejected off the field leaving the fate of X-women on their own feet.

The first-half ended with a 2-1 and it didn’t take much time for X-women to match up with a score of 2 all. Unfortunately, with a fabulous and steamy last kick by X-woman Amanda Smith, StFX ended up with the lead of 3-2 concluding their win against the Capers.

The Men’s Soccer game started off a Caper goal right off the bat by Cory Bent (assisted by Charlie Waters). Waters got a yellow card a few minutes after his assist, making his exhilaration short-lived. After a foul on the opposition team,X-Men, the subsequent goal was made by Caper’s Caelan Budhoo. Nearing half-time,Capers’ energy wasn’t left unmatched as the score became 2-1, from a shot by X-Man, Nick Aquino.

Sides changed, the teams kept facing heat from each other. With another great 3rd (and last) goal by Budhoo, the Capers bagged their win for the day with a score of 3-1.
