As you know this semester CBU offers several classes in the cinema downtown. For those purposes, you can get a discounted bus pass for $60 for three months. Caper Times interviewed Mandy Nguyen, CBUSU Vice president of Promotions to get more information about the deal. She told us that you will need CBU student ID along with your semester schedule to prove that you have classes in Cineplex. To get the bus pass please visit student union front desk on campus. You can also buy it downtown (city hall, Esplanade) but with no special rate.

The question many of you ask – why there is no discount for other students? CBU assumes that students mostly live in the residence and classes downtown will require periodical travelling with extra expense.

There is another special offer in September when you can get a bus pass for $150 for three months. Normal monthly rate is $60 a month, so the full price would be $180.
